PURPOSE:To compress data remarkable and enable to record in a voice cassette tape maintaining proper picture setentivity by receiving digital video data and converting to a series of Hadamard counting through Hadamard conversion. CONSTITUTION:Digital video data are applied to an Hadamard converter 100 and well-known Hadamard conversion is made here. In the Hadamard conver sion, 16 coefficients are given to every 16 picture elements and the most part of information is compressed to initial several coefficients. A coefficient of a line and preceding coefficient of the data thus compressed are compared by a line comparator 110, and 16 concordance and discordance are supplied to a Cx generator 120. The Cx generator 120 classifies a group made up of 16 coefficients according to the number of discordance and generates complexity register Cx. Basing on this Cx, a Huffman coder 130 generates an encoding signal and recorded through packing 140 and smoothing 150. |
