PURPOSE:To ensure an appropriate state, by compensating the control characteristic of an actuator on the basis of a learned value,and compensating the change in the control characteristic of an air flow meter through learning, to prevent the failure in controlling the time of ignition. CONSTITUTION:In a step 13, an address corresponding to the position of a section of a first learned value table is detected. In a step 15, a learned value is rewritten with a half of an arithmetic mean A. In steps 17, 19, a smallest unit DELTAA is increased for decreased depending on the integrated value alpha of the output of an O2 sensor. In steps 21, 24, 28, compensation is performed by a second learned value table in the same manner as mentioned above. A learning control coefficient is read from the second learned value table. The failure in controlling the time of ignition is thus prevented to ensure an appropriate state.
