PROCESSING RANGE DESIGNATING AND EXECUTING DEVICE FOR WORD PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To improve the operability of the titled device by using a cursor to designate the symbol information in a desired range for processing and to decide a processing range. CONSTITUTION:A cursor shift key 43 is operated for the shift of a cursor 41 to the start position of a sentence to be shifted or copied. A designation start key 45 is operated to set the start point of the sentence. Then the key 43 is operated again to shift the cursor 41 up to the end position of the sentence. In this case, the characters through which the cursor 41 passed are displayed with inversion. The end position of said sentence is set with the operation of a designation end key 47. Thus the cursor 41 is shifted to the desired shift or copy position of the sentence having a designated range with the operation of the key 43. Finally a shift key 49 or copy key 51 is operated.
