NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I (X and X' are F, or perfluoro lower alkyl; Y is F, or perfluoro lower alkoxy; m is 1-8; n is 0 or 1). USE:A raw material for producing a fluorine-containing polymer having oxygen permeability. PREPARATION:A compound shown by the formula II is hydrolyzed with KOH, NaOH, etc., reacted with a methacrylic acid reactive derivative (e.g., methacrylic acid chloride, etc.) in the presence of copper powder and a polymerization inhibitor to give a compound shown by the formula I. The compound shown by the formula I itself is polymerized or copolymerized with a monomer selected from fluorine-containing methacrylate, hydrophilic monomer, etc., to give a polymer having oxygen permeability.
