HARD COPY CONTROLLER OF CRT DISPLAY

PURPOSE:To perform a hard coping at the level of a video signal by selecting the frequency of a clock generator in response to a command of display for a CRT display or a hard copy to read out a display memory. CONSTITUTION:A displaty controller 1 fist sets a CRT display format parameter to a display timing generating means 3 so that a frequency equal to a CRT clock f0 is set to a clock generator 2. A switch 7 is driven toward (a) and the synchronizing signal given from the means 3 is applied to a display 5. Then the video signal read out of a display memory 4 is displayed. If a hard copy start command is given under such conditions, a hard copy format parameter is set to the means 3. At the same time, a frequency equal to a hard copy clock f1 is set to the generator 2. Then the switch 7 is driven toward a contact (b) and the synchronizing signal is applied to a hard copy device 6 for execution of a hard copying operation.
