PURPOSE:To have proper control of the amount of fuel injection with a simple means by furnishing the electrical circuit with a resistor which is in parallel with the fuel injection valve, and by correcting the fuel injection on the basis of the solenoid temperature. CONSTITUTION:When an injection signal from the central processing unit 14 of an electronic control system 13 is impressed to the base of a transistor 12, current will flow through a solenoid 7 to open a jet 6. A circuit 19 has an injection valve 5 and a resistor 18 parallelly. The divided voltage at a divisional point A is fed into an A/D converter 15. The divided voltage and source voltage are sensed, and the temp. of the solenoid 7 is determined by the control system 13. The duty ratio of the drive current to be supplied to the injection valve 5 is altered on the basis of this temp. obtained for correction of the amount of fuel injection. Thus proper control of fuel injection is accomplished with simple means.
