The invention relates to a device for connecting two units exchanging data or information in the form of signals exhibiting respectively for these two units different voltage amplitudes and opposed phases. The device comprises a first voltage inverter-adaptor 3 connected to the first unit 1 and to the second unit 2. This first inverter-adaptor is self-powered by the output signals from the first unit 1. The device also comprises a second voltage inverter-adaptor 4 connected to the two units 1, 2. This second adaptor-inverter 4 is supplied by a voltage delivered on a voltage output 15 of the second unit, this voltage having a value at least equal to the amplitude of the signals transmitted to the first unit by an output 12 of the second unit 2.
