PURPOSE:To increase sealing effect and to reduce a driving load by inserting a pipe which contains a screw into the center support shaft of a conveying device which mounts plural developing units from an external hopper, and rotating the screw and supplementing toner to respective developing units. CONSTITUTION:Screws 203 (e.g. 203Y) for toner conveyance are inserted into respective pipes 202 (e.g. 202Y) which link respective hoppers 201 (e.g. 201Y) with respective annular cells 351 (351B, 351C, 351M, and 351Y); one terminal of each screw 203 extends almost to a toner supplementing hole 361 (e.g. 361Y), and the other terminal penetrates a hopper 201 and is driven by a driving motor M2 to rotate. The toner in a hopper 201 is supplied to the toner supplementing hole 361 through the pipe 202 through the operation of the screw 203 and falls nearly vertically from the supplementing hole 361 by gravitation into the cell 351. The cells 351 are isolated from one another by bearing and partition sealing member. Thus, the sealing effect of a toner supplementing system part is increased and the driving load on a conveying device is reduced.
