PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic fluid, in which Fe, Co and Ni of high content are dispersed and which has high performance, by installing a magnet to the bottom of an electrolytic cell and precipitating and accumulating the filmy deposit of a high magnetizing element formed on the surface of a dispersion medium by an electrolysis onto the bottom by the force of a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A Ga alloy 2 and an electrolyte 3 are admitted into an electrolytic cell 1, and a bidirectional magnet 4 is mounted adjoined to a bottom. An anode 5 is disposed to the electrolyte 3 and a cathode 6 to the Ga alloy 2. When the magnet is installed to the bottom of the electrolytic cell, the product of a thin-film consisting of Fe, Co and Ni formed on the surface of the alloy with an electrolysis is changed into ferromagnetic from super-paramagnetic by the magnetic line of force radiated from the magnet when magnetic force exceeds some magnitude. Consequently, the magnetic line of force of the bottom works, and the product is sucked to the bottom. Since alloy itself is composed of a paramagnetic substance, the alloy is replaced with sucked ferromagnetic substance particles and a vector separating from the magnet is generated, and the product moves to the surface layer section of the alloy. A fluid having weak magnetic sensitivity collects in the surface layer section at all times, and a substance having strong magnetic sensitivity accumulates on the bottom. |
