<p>The invention relates to the techniques for purifying contaminated fluids. The tank forming the subject of the invention is characterised particularly in that it is equipped with compressed air dispersers 6 placed in the mixing tank 4, chambers 17, 20 for regenerating and deoxygenating the bacterial medium, communicating with each other, and themselves also equipped with compressed air dispersers 18, the regeneration chamber 17 being in communication with the outlet 14 for sludge to be recycled and comprising an entry 39 for the bacterial medium, placed in communication with the end region 5 of the mixing tank 4, of the chamber 20 for deoxygenating the bacterial medium comprising an entry 2 for the waste water 10 and an outlet 22 placed in communication with the initial region 3 of the mixing tank 4.
