PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of a liq. in a liq. chamber by providing the opening parts of a liq. supply hole, a liq. discharge hole, and a gas vent at a position distant from a separation membrane in a filter press-type separator used inpervaporation. CONSTITUTION:The opening parts to each chamber of a liq. supply hole 7, a liq. discharge port 8, and a gas vent 12 for connecting a liq. chamber 4 formed by a separa tion membrane 11 and a chamber frame 2 and a vaporized gas chamber 3 to communi cating holes 5, 6, and 9 or to the outside are provided at positions where their periph ery is out of contact with the separation membrane 11. For example, one surface of the chamber formed by the separation membrane 11 and the chamber frame 2 is formed by a partition plate 1 having the flow passages forming the liq. supply hole 7, the liq. discharge hole 8, and the gas vent 12 at the inside and having the opening part of each hole on its flat surface. Consequently, the clamping surface between the inner periphery of the chamber frame 2 and the separation membrane 11 is smoothed, the leakage of a liq. in the liq. chamber due to the pressure difference between the liq. chamber 4 and the vaporized gas chamber 3 is eliminated, and the degree of vacuum in the vaporized gas chamber 3 is enhanced, and a liq. mixture can be separated at a high separation velocity.
