Piezoelectric ceramic mass used in manufacture of wave filters and electromechanical converters. G6A. Consists of a ternary solid solution with basic composition of 2.5 mole-% to 60 mole-% Pb(M1/3Nb2/3)O3 where M is nickel or cobalt, not more than 60 mole-% PbTiO3 and not more than 80 mole-% PbZrO3. Can in addition contain at least one oxide of Mn, Zn, Cr, Fe, Ta or Th. Additions reduce the resonance resistance, increase the mechanical properties and reduce variations in resonance frequency with temp. Additions not to exceed 3% by wt; of the ternary system combination. General formula: Pb(NIl/3 Nb2/3)TiyZrzO3 where x+y+z = 1. For electro-mechanical converters such as pick-up heads and microphones. |
