[Also in Division F2] An hydraulic control system in a stubby winged helicopter comprises a fluid pump and motor P-L, M-L; P-R, M-R in a pod relatively rotatable to each fixed wing and controlling elements situated in the helicopter fuselage and the respective opposing wing, i.e. pump P-R and motor M-R situated in the right-hand pod, control elements in the left-hand wing. Fluid connection is maintained between relatively rotating parts by identical coupling assemblies for each wing, the left-hand assembly comprising rotating parts 111L, 113L fixed to the pod, and stationary parts 112L, 114L fixed to the wing. |
