PURPOSE:To obtain a solid food having improved taste and flavor of edible yeast, stably kept thiamine in yeast, comprising an edible yeast as a main component, obtained by blending granules containing the edible yeast with granules containing ascorbic acid. CONSTITUTION:Edible yeast-containing granules having 0.6-1.0kg/cm<2>, preferably 20-42 meshes particle size and 30-95wt% edible yeast prepared. Separately, ascorbic acid-containing granules harder than the granules, having 0.8-1.4kg/cm<2> hardness, preferably 20-42 meshes particle size and 10-30wt% ascorbic acid are prepared. Both the granules are blended in a weight ratio of 1:2-2:1, and optionally compression molded into a tablet, lamellar, or bar shape, etc. |
