PURPOSE:To obtain vividness of the sound by dividing the output of each microphone, and attenuate the divided outputs by attenuators of different attenuation coefficients and thereafter mix them in left/right channels and transmit as a stereo sound signal. CONSTITUTION:After undergoing the set attenuation, the output of each microphone is mixed in 2 channels by a mixer m (R) and M (L), and is transferred in form of stereo signal to the counterpart conference facility from output signal lines 21 and 22. The magnitude of attenuation of attenuator is set in compliance to the pan pot attenuation curve. The attenuation ratio is varied per each microphone, and then, the sound inputted from a microphone Ma is outputted from the right hand side loudspeaker at the counterpart facility. Inversely, the input sound from a microphone Me is outputted from the left hand side loudspeaker. But the output from a microphone Mc is outputted from the both loudspeakers and hence is positioned in the center. And the outputs from the microphones Mb and Md are positioned to the right and to the left from the center respectively. That is, the image is positioned corresponding to the positionings of the microphones, by which a vivid sound effect is obtained. |
