PURPOSE:To improve the automatic setting grinding efficiency of a band saw by installing a saw cutting-edge setting plate for adjusting the inclination angle in the direction of width, abrasive wheel which permits the setting along the side clearance angle in sawing, saw-cutter feeding mechanism interlocked with the abrasive wheel, and a feed-amount adjusting screw. CONSTITUTION:A supporting plate 54 is moved vertically by operating a motor 56, and the grinding part on the peripheral edge of a setting abrasive wheel 50 is allowed to intrude into the garret (c) of a band saw (a), and an installation plate 55, lateral adjusting board 59, and a working board 60 are adjusted by the adjusting lever members 61 and 61 and adjusting members 62 and 63 according to the grinding angle and the grinding amount corresponding to the teeth part (b). Therefore, the teeth part (b) of the band saw is ground and set by the reciprocating movement in the vertical direction of the setting abrasive wheel 50, and when the abrasive wheel 50 shifts downward from the teeth part (b), the band saw (a) is immediately sent leftward by a hook, and ring-shaped turn is performed. Therefore, the setting grinding along the aide clearance angle of the lateral distribution sawing of the band saw is permitted, and the feed amount in the smooth feed can be set, and the grinding efficiency can be improved. |
