PURPOSE:To perform stable feed of papers through separation of one paper at each time, by a method wherein a press plate is located to a control plate and about in the same level as that of a separating claw, and the paper is fed over the separating claw without being bent by the separating claw. CONSTITUTION:A separating claw 24 is positioned facing two corners at the forward end of a paper 37, and is sloped slightly upward and is secured to a control plate 23. An energizing means 27, energizing the two corners of the paper in the direction of the claw 24 and having the one end fixed to a rotary table 21, is located to the surface of the rotary table 21 positioned facing the claws 24. According to a paper feeding instruction, the table 21 is pressed up in the direction of a paper feed roller 16, and the paper 37 on the table 21 is pressed against the roller 16. The two corners positioned facing the claw 24 of the paper 37 are lightly pressed up toward the claw 24 by means of the energizing means 27, and when the roller 16 is rotated, the forward end, positioned facing the claw 24, of the uppermost paper 37 is bent upward, the paper is fed over the claw 24 through nerve of the paper itself for feeding, and the paper is prevented from floating with the aid of a press plate 28. |
