PRODUCTION DEVICE OF FLUID BEARING WITH GROOVE

PURPOSE:To form the fluid groove having equal depth on a shaft by supporting a hard ball with the hard collar fitted co-axially with a guide pipe and a guide hole and by rotatably moving back and forth the guide pipe with the state of the inner diameter of the collar being slightly smaller than the sum of the outer diameter of a working shaft and the two pieces part of the hard ball. CONSTITUTION:Hard balls 9A, 9B are supported by the hard collar 8 being fitted co-axially to a guide pipe 7 and the guide holes 7A, 7B of the pipe 7. The inner diameter of the collar 8 is made slightly smaller than the sum of the diameter of the shaft 1 to be worked and two pieces part of the hard ball 7A. When the guide pipe 7 is rotatively moved back and forth for the working shaft 1, the liquid groove 1a having equal depth is formed on the shaft 1. With extremely simple device an equally accurate shaft with liquid groove is made.
