摘要 PURPOSE:To repeat solidification-fusion cycle without causing supercooling by a structure wherein some portions of heat reservoirs in continuous form are cooled at a temperature below the melting point of hydrated inorganic salt at all times. CONSTITUTION:Heat energy storaging material is obtained by mixing hydrophilic polysaccharide with hydrated inorganic salt. The lower part of the heat energy storaging material in each heat reservoir 5 in continuous form is in the state solidified and crystallized, because said lower part is held at a temperature below the melting point of the hydrated inorganic salt be means of a cooling tank 7. Heat transfer medium, which flows through an inflowing port 3 into a heat accumulator and through an outflowing port 4 out of the accumulator, exchanges heat with the water passing through a tube 2 and the heat reservoirs 5 during flowing through the accumulator, resulting in turning the water in the tube 2 into hot water and fusing the heat energy storaging material filled in the heat reservoirs 5 for heat storage. However, some portion of each heat reservoir in continuous form or the heat energy storaging material near the portion facing to the cooling tank 7 remains as solidified. When the inflowing of heat from the heat transfer medium is broken off and the temperature of the hot water in the heat accumulator lowers below the melting point of the hydrated inorganic salt in the heat energy storaging material, the solid portion of the heat energy storaging material serves as nucleator for spreading the solidification and crystallization of its fused portion, resulting in releasing the heat of fusion.
