发明名称 OIL MIST DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the quantity of oil mist in a cylinder directly by printing and depositing the oil mist on the surface of a heater kept at a high temperature and detecting the quantity of oil mist as the change of current leaked through the deposite by a sensor. CONSTITUTION:When oil mist 2 is adhered to the surface of a mist sensor 1 heated at a high temperature, the mist is printed on the surface of the sensor 1 and a deposit 2a consisting of hydrocarbon as a main component is formed. The mist sensor 1 is heated at a high temperature from a power supply 3 through a heat wire 1d and the surface of a coat 1a such as ceramics coating the heat wire 1d is kept at about 850 deg.C. When the oil mist is adhered to the surface of the coat 1a under said status and a large quantity of deposit 2a is stacked on the surface of the coat 1a, leaked current im is made to flow into the deposit in addition to the heating current ih and a current of i=ih+im is supplied from the power supply 3. The current is detected by a load resistor 4 and the quantity of the oil mist is displyed by a display means. In this method, the concentration of the oil mist can be easily measured in the leaked current of a small heater in the oil mist atmosphere in a cylinder.
