The outer casing of the drier carries a fan, with associated air inlets, in its base. Above the fan is a thermostatically-control led electrical element surrounded by a screen protecting it from water. Above the assembly, a wire basket holds the items to be dried. Moisture dispersed by the airflow from the fam which may be augmented by heat from the element as necessary. - Alternatively the basket is pivoted horizontally so that rotation by hand or motor speeds the process. The fan, mounted above the basket, may draw air through rather than impel it.
