PURPOSE:To reduce the number of reproducing devices and video discs and to reduce the total cast of the system by providing plural reproducing means for one video disc offer service in responding simultaneously to the plural requests requesting reproduction of equal contents piled in times series. CONSTITUTION:The video disc whose content meets the requests is loaded manually or by automatic loading mechanism externally mounted by opening a housing 19. A controlling part 30, after identifying the video/sound service- request receiving part that received the request selects the video/sound signal outputting part that is connected to the reproducing head which is not being operated, and indicates to a switch matrix 29 to connect the two parts. In such a case, as far as the vacant reproducing heads exist, settings of parallel connections are made able to meet request to an optional plural number. Also, after completing the transmission of the reproducing signal in correspondece to the request, the connection set for the request is cut off and the original state is restored.
