PURPOSE:To make the solid content of emulsion high and to lower the viscosity by dropping a monomer of specified amount and an oligomer emulsifier of specified amount into the emulsion obtained from the oligomer emulsifier and thereafter performing the polymerization of the second step. CONSTITUTION:The emulsion B is obtained by using about 0.2-7pts.wt. oligomer emulsifier A for 100pts.wt. monomer such as ethylene plus vinyl acetate and performing the polymerization by a normal emulsion polymerizing method. 200-1,500pts.wt. monomer C and 0.3-7pts.wt. oligomer emulsifier A per 100pts. wt. monomer C are dropped for 100pts.wt. (solid content) emulsion B. Thereafter the polimerization of the second step is performed for this mixture to produce emulsion. As the monomer C, ethylene, vinyl acetate, methyl propionate and methyl methacrylate or the like are used.
