METHOD OF PRODUCING FOR FLAME-RETARDANT ACRYLIC POLYMER

Flame-retardant acrylic polymer is prepd. for use as curtain, carpet, and interior. Vinyl monomers are polymerized in an aquous media containing halogen. The vinyl monomers contain more than 75 wt.% of acrylonitril and the produced polymer contains 40 - 70 wt.% of acrylonitril and more than 15 wt.% of hologen atom. The radical initiator is redox initiator or cerium salts. In the aquous media, inorganic salts are 0.01 - 2.0 wt.%.
