Electroplating bath for the rapid deposition of palladium alloys

An electroplating bath is described which enables the production, without brighteners, of bright, crack-free coatings made of palladium-nickel, palladium-cobalt and palladium-cobalt-nickel. A spray-cell configuration can be employed for high-speed electrolysis. The coatings are notable for ductility and a low contact resistance which barely increases even after corrosive stress or annealing, since no brighteners are incorporated in the coatings.
