The invention relates to a length of sewer pipe for an adjustable plug-in connection, in the case of which one end of another pipe can be plugged into a face end of the length of sewer pipe and, by means of a sealing ring located therebetween, is sealed and can be fixed so as to be capable of displacement. The conventionally used rolling ring which is secured, if appropriate, in a peripheral groove in the length of sewer pipe, or in the end, to be plugged in, of the other pipe, is easily shifted out of position and jammed when adjusting the plug-in connection, as a result of which not only is adjustment hindered but, in addition, the necessary sealing is at risk. This is avoided according to the invention in that the sealing ring in the plug-in direction of the pipe end is supported in a positively locking manner on the face end of the length of sewer pipe, with the result that the sealing ring cannot be shifted out of position or jammed when plugging in the end of the other pipe.
