PURPOSE:To make the minimum delivery length of a seat belt variable at will in a proper manner, by making a control member so as to be moved along a seat belt delivery direction via a control cable in proportion as a seat is longitudinally slidden. CONSTITUTION:In a state that a seat is situated in an illustrated position, when this seat 6 is slidden frontward, an inner cable 17 of a control cable 18 is pulled with a jerk. If so, a control member 11 is slidingly moved upward, against a spring 15, along a longitudinally long hole 13 formed in a casing of a belt retractor 2, and simultaneously a belt 1 is delivered via a stopper projection 10 fixedly installed in the belt 1. Therefore, the minimum delivery length of the belt 1 increases as long as almost equal length with a frontward moving extent of the seat 6 whereby a tilting angle in a rotary arm 4 varies to some extent, thus such a drawback as the belt 1 comes loose is solved. |
