PURPOSE:To permit to prevent the reduction of line pressure by a method wherein the speed change of a CVT is stopped substantially when the speed change of a sub transmission is generated during the speed change of the continuously variable transmission (CVT) to avoid the supply of much amount of hydraulic pressure medium. CONSTITUTION:A CVT speed change detecting means 366 detects whether the CVT is on the way of speed change or not while a sub transmission detecting means 368 detects whether the sub transmission is on the way of speed change or not. A speed change prohibiting means 370 stops the speed change of the CVT, which is effected by a speed change ratio control means 364, when the speed change of the sub speed change gear is generated during the speed change of the CVT. As a result, the supply and discharge of oil to the input side hydraulic cylinder of the CVT are stopped and the speed change of the CVT is stopped. Accordingly, the consumption of a large amount of oil may be avoided and the reduction of the line pressure will never be caused. |
