Hand drier for lavatories

It is known to dry the hands in lavatories or the like with a stream of hot air. The stream of hot air also sucks in any bacteria present and blows them on to the hands to be dried. In order to avoid this disadvantage it is proposed, according to the invention, that the hot air drier be provided with a filter that separates bacteria and/or spores. The filter pack comprises activated charcoal and soda lime. The exchangeable filter pack is put on the hot air drier and/or arranged downstream thereof.
