PURPOSE:To permit to miniaturize a transmission case by a method wherein two pieces of transmission input shafts and an engine output shaft are permitted to operate in conjunction with each other through a belt and pulley mechanism to cut and switch power without providing a clutch in the mission case. CONSTITUTION:When the swinging operation of the transmission case 51 is effected, the distance in one combination between driven pulleys 71, 72, which are equipped on input shafts 52, 53, and a driving pulley is lengthened and the distance of the other combination is shortened, therefore, the belt of one set is brought into tensed condition. According to this operation, the engine output is transmitted to one of the driven pulleys 71, 72 while the driving force is outputted to one of input shafts 52, 53. Accordingly, switching of forward and backward running may be effected quickly and simply and the transmission case 51 may be miniaturized by effecting the swinging operation of the transmis sion case 51 without providing a clutch for switching forward and backward drivings in the transmission case.
