The buoyant material (4) is moved from the back to the chest side by releasing a rapid tensioner (4a), whose belt is then held and pushed to the side of the body. This causes the buoyant material (4) to move to the chest side. Then the tensioner is secured at the back, locking the back section on to the chest. The buoyant material transfer prevents the user to drown, e.g. when unconscious and immersing his/her face. The arrangement allows for at least 90% of the buoyant material to be moved to the chest side of the jacket. |
