PURPOSE:To dissolve trail operation so as to eliminate the dissastisfaction of fans and players, by preparing two kinds of entry tables for an advance sale and a current sale in a totalizing processor and terminal controller and making repayment in accordance with the change in the entry. CONSTITUTION:Easily recognized advance sale/current sale discriminating marks are provided on pari-mutuel tickets for a horse (car race) and, at the same time, two kinds of entry tables for advance sale and current sale are provided in totalizing processor 1 and terminal processor 2 as the tables for processing. When an entry cancellation occurs before the current sale is made in a race to which the advance sale is made, the entry table for the advance sale is changed. When the entry cancellation is made after the current sale is made, the entry table for current sale is changed. When repayment is made to winning tickets, whether a winning ticket is of the advance sale or current sale is first checked by a repaying machine 32 and the entry table is checked in accordance with the checked results. When cancelling process is to be made as the results of the checking, returning process is performed. When no cancelling process is required, effective tickets are processed. Therefore, trail operation is eliminated and the dissatisfaction of fans and players is also eliminated. |
