<p>PURPOSE:To invert automatically a tape at the the place as that of sound recording even during reproduction by recording a signal of frequency outside the audio frequency range on the tape for a short time when a manual inversion switch is pressed during the sound recording, and inverting the run of the tape. CONSTITUTION:When the manual inversion switch 12 is turned on during the sound recording, a control circuit 10 outputs control pulses for the short time, a changeover switch 14 is turned on, and the output obtained by dividing the frequency of the output of an oscillation circuit 3 through a frequency dividing circuit 13 is applied to a sound recording amplifier 2. In this case, the frequency division output of the circuit 13 is so selected that the output frequency is outside the audio frequency range. Then, a signal is applied to a tape driving mechanism inverting circuit 11 once the control pulses turn off, thereby inverting a tape driving mechanism. When reproduction is performed, the signal of frequency outside the audio frequency range that a playback output signal contains is detected by an HPF 15 and converted by an inversion signal output circuit 16 into a high/low output, which is applied to the circuit 11, thereby inverting the tape driving mechanism.</p> |
