PURPOSE:To produce a magnetic head easily with high precision by adhering a nonmagnetic plate which has a main magnetic pole member fitted in a main magnetic pole insertion groove to an auxiliary magnetic pole plate which is provided with four couples of grooves for winding windows and the main magnetic pole insertion groove and assembling them, and splitting and then working and cutting the assembly. CONSTITUTION:Four couples of grooves 3 and 4 as winding windows 12 are arranged on the main surface of the auxiliary magnetic pole plate 1 at equal intervals in parallel, and insertion grooves 5a for main magnetic poles are arranged at center parts of the grooves 3 and 4. Further, insertion grooves 5b for main magnetic poles are formed in the main surface of the nonmagnetic plate 2 as a slide member. Main magnetic pole member plate 6 are fitted in the insertion grooves 5b and adhered and the auxiliary magnetic pole plate 1 and nonmagnetic plate 2 are adhered together to form the assembly. This assembly is cut at the center position between the main magnetic pole members 5 and divided into four pieces in directions of grooves 3 and 4. Then, the surface of the non-magnetic plate 2 is rounded to expose the main magnetic pole plates 6 and the main magnetic member plate 5 is cut to necessary side at right angles to its lengthwise direction. Thus, the head is produced easily at high yield with less assembly man-power and high efficiency. |
