PURPOSE:To easily manufacture an electrode excellent in its workability by hardening, by means of synthetic resin or tar or pitch, and molding some of metallic materials for an electrode or an alloy thereof formed in the state of particles, fine strips or fine fiber. CONSTITUTION:Fine particles, having about 5-100mu diameter, of some one of metals or an alloy thereof frequently used for the conventional electrodes are used as a basic material, and tar mixed with graphite and resin such as acryl, or vinylon etc. are used as a binder. The diameter and shape of particles are selected depending on the kind of use. An electrode can be obtained by forming an mixture of a basic material and the binder in a desired shape by means of a mold. In addition, used electrodes can be crushed into pieces to be used again. |
