PURPOSE:To regulate the chucking force or the stroke of the left and right chuck clicks through simple operation by supporting a pair of chuck clicks movably at the guide section of chuck holder body with variable stroke. CONSTITUTION:The chuck holder body section 3 is provided with a guide member 7 for guiding/supporting a work movably in opening/closing direction of a pair of chuck clicks 2 for mounting/dismounting the work. While a piston 14 is fitted in the cylinder chamber 10 in order to open the chuck click 2 against the energizing force of resilient machine 9 for normally closing the chuck click 2. Here, the stroke of the chuck click 2 under closing operation is executed by rotating a screw rod 25 and adjusting the gap between the inner face of a movable member 4 and the piston guide 11. While air is pressure fed into the cylinder chamber 10 through an air supply path 19 provided in the chuck holder body 3.
