PURPOSE:To simply inhale and clean the smoke of tobacco in the car interior by installing an air passage whose one edge communicates to the suction side of a blower and the other edge communicates to the blowing-out port of a defroster and installing a filter member and dampers in the air passage. CONSTITUTION:When a knob is operated to the vent/air-cleaning mode position, dampers 17 and 19 are operated to each full-line position, and only the communication passage 15a of an upper blowing-out port 15 is opened. Then, interlocked with the opening of the communication passage 15a, the dampers 22 and 23 are operated to each full-line position, and the both edge sides of an air passage 20 are opened. Therefore, the air blown-out from a blower 5 passes through a cooler unit case 8, heater unit case 10, and an air mixing chamber 14, and forms the air having the proper temperature determined by the opening degree of the air mix dampers 13a and 13b, and is blown-out into the car interior from the upper bloowing-out port 15. The smoke due to the smoking of a driver on the front-seat side is immediately inhaled from a defroster blowing-out port 16, and cleaned by a filter member 21, and blown-out into the car interior from the upper blowing-out port 15. |
