摘要 |
PURPOSE:To remove reverse charge toner stuck on a part where there is no latent image and to obtain a sharp image having no ground fogging by sticking toner on a photosensitive body and then applying an AC electric field on which a DC voltage with the opposite polarity is superposed between the photosensitive body and an electrode roller. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive drum 1 is charged electrostatically by a corona charger 4 and exposed to signal light 5 to form an electrostatic latent image. Then, a developing device 6 applies a pulse voltage 9 including a super posed positive DCvoltage 8 to its developing roller and toner 7 is stuck on the electrostatic latent image on the drum 1. A pulse voltage 12 on which a DC voltage 11 lower than the potential of the no-latent-image part of the drum 1 is superposed bet-ween the drum 1 and electrode roller 10 to attract and remove the reverse charged toner stuck on the no-latent-image part of the drum 1 by a roller 10. Consequently, unnecessary toner is removed without exerting any influence upon correctly charged toner stuck on the drum 1 to obtain the sharp image having no ground fogging. |
