The cushion-bag (2) is comprised of two sheets (3, 4) which are partially welded to each other to form air chambers wherein a predetermined air volume is retained. According to the invention, the empty communicating air chambers are connected to an air pump by means of a single inflation opening which is sealed after inflating the cushion-bag.
