PURPOSE:To improve dispersibility and colorability by providing a silver halide emulsion layer contg. the coupler dispersed by the high boiling org. solvent expressed by the specific chemical formula and the compd. expressed by the specific chemical formula on a base. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide emulsion layer contg. the coupler dispersed by using the high boiling org. solvent contg. the compd. expressed by the formu la II is provided on the base to form the silver halide photographic sensitive material. The compd. expressed by the formula I is requird to be incorporated into at least one layer of the above-mentioned silver halide emulsion layer. In the formula I and the formula II, R<1> denotes an alkyl group, aryl group, etc., R<2> denotes a univalent group, S denotes 0-3 integer, R<4> denotes an alkyl group of 1-20C, R<2> denotes an alkyl group and cycloalkyl group of 1-20C. The total sum of members of carbon atoms of the groups R<3> and R<4> is 4-24 and n is 0-3 integer. |
