PURPOSE:To produce a handy copier by utilizing a method in which a stencil is prepared by irradiation of a flash and, then, an image is formed. CONSTITUTION:The cover on a cylinder 15 side is removed and placed on one edge of a manuscript 18. A recording body 11 and the cylinder 15 are driven at the same speed. At this time, the manuscript 18 and the recording body 11 are in contact by a length (d). If a flash lamp 16 is lit, a light absorbing image portion of the manuscript generates heat within the region (d) in the moving direction, a stencil image is formed on a polymer layer of the recording body 11 correspondingly. By rotation of a motor the copier is moved as much as a distance (d2) after a certain time (t), and then, the flash lamp 16 is lit for the second time. Thus, the above operation continues until the scanning of the required portion of the manuscript 18 is completed. Then, if the top and bottom of the copier is reversed and driven by a motor, the ink coated on the surface of an ink roller 20 from an ink pad 24 reaches an image receiving surface through the stencil image portion of the recording paper 11 and an ink image is shaped. |
