PURPOSE:To manufacture a package for a piezoelectric vibrator efficiently by fixing the package for piezoelectric vibrator to a tie bar of a lead frame up to the final process and cutting off the tie bar at the final process. CONSTITUTION:Terminals 15, 16 of the package 12 for vibrator are fixed by tie bars 13, 13'' and the package 12 is fitted to a frame 11 of a node frame. The terminal 12 to which no piezoelectric vibrator is connected in the terminals 15, 16 is led out of an insulation substance 17 but independent electrically. While leaving the tie bar 13'' between the terminal 15 and the frame 11 of the lead frame 10, the other tie bar 15 and leads between terminals 16 and 15' and between terminals 15' and 16' of the other piezoelectric vibrator 12' are cut off. Since the terminal 16 mounted with the piezoelectric vibrator is not short-circuited to nowhere of the lead frame 10, the mounted piezoelectric vibrator is subjected to frequency adjustment till check, then the tie bar 13'' is cut off at the final process.
