PURPOSE:To provide the titled adhesive compsn. consisting of a specified resin compsn. and an organic solvent, which has high normal-state and water-resistant bonding power and is capable of bonding a polyvinyl chloride flooring with a high working efficiency without causing peeling-off, bulging and warping. CONSTITUTION:The adhesive compsn. consists of (A) an epoxy resin (e.g. polyglycidyl ether of bisphenol A), (B) a hardener (e.g. condensate of an aliphatic polyamine with a dimer acid), (C) a vinyl chloride resin (e.g. vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer having a degree of polymerization of about 80-800) and (D) an organic solvent for polyvinyl chloride flooring (e.g. cyclohexane). (C) and (D) are used in about 5-100pts.wt. and about 2-25pts.wt., respectively, per 100pts.wt. (A)+(B).
