PURPOSE:To inform immediately a person concerned in photography information by detecting plural pieces of variable information at respective positions of a television lens and converting them into electric information, and displaying them on a display device arranged at one position on a lens barrel where information is easily observed. CONSTITUTION:The display device 18 is provided at one position on the lens barrel of the television lens 19. A focus lens group 1 is moved for focusing, and then the extent of the displacement is detected by a focus position detector 8 and amplified and converted by an amplifier 13 for focusing into electric information of an LED, liquid crystal, etc., which is displayed on the display device 18. Zoom position information when a variator lens group 2 and a compensator lens group 3 are moved, iris information when an iris 5 is controlled, information of an extender 6, information of the temperature-humidity detector 12 in the lens barrel, etc., are sent to the device 18 through similar amplifiers and displayed. Thus, the persons concerned in photography is informed of information immediately.
