PURPOSE:To produce a krill product having mitigated characteristic smell and taste of krill, excellent preservability and high nutrient value, by compounding cyclodextrin to the edible part of krill. CONSTITUTION:The objective krill product can be prepared by compounding the edible part of krill with cyclodextrin preferably in an amount of 2.5-25wt% based on the edible part of krill. The krill product can be used as it is as a food or feed, however, it is preferable to use together with fish meat, animal meat or vegetable meat to produce a processed meat paste product. |
