PURPOSE:To produce quickly a desired output picture and to obtain easily the output picture with changed form of an input drawing, by supplying the parameter of an arithmetic formula of a picture converter in a conventional style with a CRT display. CONSTITUTION:A drawing is scanned by an image reader 1 and converted into digital data. A converting operation is carried out between the coordinates (x, y) and (x', y') by a picture converter 7 under the control of an electronic controller 4. The contents of this conversion are stored in an optical disk 3. In an output mode the data stored in the disk 3 are read out under the control of the controller 4, and the information which outputs the drawing is sent to a printer 2 according to the data obtained after conversion of the coordinates. A series of these actions are carried out by an operator with the use of a CRT display 5 and a keyboard 6.
