PURPOSE:To expand the scale of system and to attain ease of switching of access to a ring form network by circulating a signal which selecting a different carrier wavelength propagated in two right/left directions of a bus type optical circuit network so as to utilize the easiness of optical multiplexity of an optical fiber line. CONSTITUTION:Communication terminal stations 11-1-11-n of the optical circuit network are connected by each optical fiber line 1 and photocouplers 12-1-12-n, 16-1-16-n are provided respectively at both ends of each line 1 and at the midpoint. Moreover, optoelectric converting circuits 13-1-13-n, 18-1-18-n and electrooptic converting circuits 14-1-14-n, 17-1-17-n are connected respectively among the couplers 12-1-12-n and 16-1-16-n, and data terminal devices 15-1-15-n. Then a signal is circulated while selecting different wavelengths lambda1, lambda2 in both left/right directions of each line 1 and the optical multiplexity of the lines 1 is utilized so as to expand the scale of the bus type optical circuit network and ease of switching of access to the ring type network. |
