PURPOSE:To form an electron tube having an excellent spreading property and an excellent mass productivity, by mixing tannic acid etc. in the graphite membrane to obtain a coarse and highly resistive membrane by which resolution or combustion of conductive materials in a paint is expedited by heat from a thermal dissolution or baking in heating. CONSTITUTION:A graphite paint is made by mixing graphite, a binder, TiO2 of a high resistivity, and a dispersion agent, in a specific ratio. Then its watered slurry is spread with a brush over a given area inside a CRT funnel 1, dried up to form the inner graphite membrane 2, and then a solution of tannic acid is sprayed over the membrane 2, following a slit baking and other processes. Moreover, by changing the graphite content etc., the graphite membrane 3 is made into a low resistant part, and the graphite membrane 4 into a medium resistant part. And, during the backing process, tannic acid makes thermal resolution, expedites dissolution and combustion of graphite or organic substance in the dispersion agent mixed therein, and forms a membrane with a coarse surface and a high resistant value. |
