PURPOSE:To prevent the title device from being damaged on fitting an insulator and perfectly seal a space between the insulator and a flange, by a method wherein a section for putting the insulator and the flange together is tapered, and wherein a groove is provided for the tapered surface of the flange and sealing material is pressed into the groove. CONSTITUTION:A conic penetrating slot of large inside diameter and small outside diameter of an electrical appliance is formed through a flange 10, and a plurality of grooves 14 are arranged to be formed on the tapered surface. And on an insulator 9 inserting a lead conductor 1 through, a conic surface fitted on the conic penetrating slot of the flange 10 is formed. And sealing material is pressed into the grooves 14 of the flange 10, and the insulator 9 is fitted on the flange 10 via O-ring 19 and is arranged to be fastened and fixed with a nut 12. In this manner, the insulator 9 is easily fitted, and the device is prevented from being damaged on fitting the insulator, and a space between the insulator 9 and the flange 10 can be perfectly sealed. |
