PURPOSE:To enhance the separation efficiency to enhance the restartability of an engine upon high temperature operation, by disposing, in a fuel tank, a high-polymer membrane which allows alcoholic components to be selectively permeated therethrough, and by introducing pressurized air from a supercharger. CONSTITUTION:Hydrophilic components of an alcohol blended fuel A in a fuel tank 1, are filtered through a high-polymer membrane 3 on the bottom surface of the tank 1, and a rich alcohol fuel B is reserved in the tank 4. Further, fuel pumps 10, 11 are driven in accordance with a signal from a computer 33, and therefore, a solenoid change-over switch 14 is operated in accordance with the operation thereof. Meanwhile, pressurized air from a supercharger 21 is fed from a surge tank 25 to the engine, and a part of the pressurized air is led from a position upstream of a throttle valve 24 to the space in the fuel tank 1 through a one-way check valve 29. The pressurized air is maintained at a predetermined pressure by means of a pressure regulator 30 so that the osmosis and diffusing rate of alcohol components through the high-polymer membrane 3 are increased, thereby it is possible to enhance the separation efficiency. |
